High-level dialogues exploring India’s growing role as a leader in the Global South marked discussions during ‘India Day @ UNGA week’ in New York. Organised by Reliance Foundation in partnership with Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and the United Nations in India office, the events provided insights and learnings along with pathways for sustainable development beyond 2030.
Reliance Foundation and Vital Voices are excited to announce the selection of 50 exceptional women chosen for the 2024-2025 WomenLeaders India Fellowship. This second cohort of the Fellowship identifies women with deep commitment to driving change and change within their communities as social sector leaders and social entrepreneurs.

As landslides at Wayanad have created heartrending scenes of devastation, everything possible needs to be done to support the people at this time. Reliance Foundation as part of deep commitment to the nation, especially in its most challenging hours, announced a multi-pronged approach to support the people of Wayanad in the immediate, mid-term and long-term.
Reliance Foundation and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) have entered into a strategic partnership to create courses with future-ready skills for 500,000 Indian youth. This partnership entails the development of curriculum focusing on creating capacity for the youth in fields including EdTech, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), environmental sustainability, policy analysis and much more.
Over 900 children from disadvantaged communities in Mumbai had a special treat at Jio Presents Hamleys Wonderland™ for a day of excitement, joy and inspiration through stories. Facilitating the children’s activities and volunteering at the venue, was Ms Isha Ambani who joined Reliance employee volunteers in cheering the children through the fun-filled events of the day that culminated with a storytelling session.
Diverse stakeholders from across India’s millet landscape
emphasized that challenges of food security, farm livelihoods and nutrition diversity can be
resolved in a climate-resilient manner, by building on the momentum generated during the
International Year of Millets (IYOM). They were sharing experiences at a multi-stakeholder
conference ‘Shaping Perspectives on Practise and Policy for Millets in India’, organised by
Reliance Foundation on December 19, 2023.
Reliance Foundation is inviting applications for its prestigious postgraduate scholarships that aim to nurture world-class talent. Applications are open to first-year postgraduate students in nine fields of study that aim to reimagine and build India’s growth. Applications are open until 17 December 2023.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) with the Olympic Museum has aligned with Reliance Foundation to build on the success of the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) in India and signed a new cooperation agreement. It underscores the organisations’ shared priority to promote Olympic values through sport among young people.
A strong belief in the Indian approach and leadership to achieve Sustainable Development was the underlying tone of two high-level discussions organised in New York by the Reliance Foundation, Observer Research Foundation, the United Nations India office, and the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations.
It was a time of bonding and laughter for 3,400 underprivileged children and senior citizens from NGOs supported by Reliance Foundation who experienced special shows of the International Broadway musical ‘The Sound of Music’, dedicated for them by Mrs. Nita Ambani at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
