About the Conference
With the aim to bring best practice and innovations from international and world-class institutions and speakers, Reliance Foundation is hosting the second annual Building Flourishing Futures (BFF) event, a two-day convening dedicated to reimagining how we nurture young learners from early childhood through the primary years on the 7th and 8th February 2026 at Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School.
Building on the success of the inaugural BFF session on Early Childhood Care and Education, the 2026 edition broadens its lens to focus on meeting learners where they are—recognising children’s diverse contexts, abilities, languages, and pathways to learning and will contribute to the goals articulated by India’s National Education Policy (NEP).
Early and primary education years are foundational—not only for academic success, but for children’s wellbeing, identity, curiosity, and agency. As education systems evolve in response to social change, inequality, and rapid technological advancement, there is a growing need to:
- Design learning environments that are inclusive, joyful, and developmentally responsive
- Support educators with practical tools and research-backed insights
- Bridge early childhood and primary education through continuity in pedagogy and purpose
- Explore how technology and AI can responsibly enhance learning without losing the human core of education
BFF 2026 creates a shared space to reflect, learn, and co-create solutions that place children—and those who support them—at the centre.
The convening brings together educators, policymakers, researchers, school leaders, Anganwadi practitioners, CSOs, and education innovators from India and across the world to explore research-informed, practice-led approaches that strengthen foundations for lifelong learning.
The event will welcome over 250 practitioners for two days of enriching sessions, including keynote addresses by leading national and international experts; plenary panel discussions connecting policy, research, and classroom practice; hands-on masterclasses and learning labs; interactive exhibitions and learning stations; voices from the field, including teachers and Anganwadi practitioners and curated opportunities for networking and collaboration. It will also focus on practices and innovations that tailor to the individual needs of each child, while building the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Participants will explore innovative practices across play-based and inquiry-led learning; language, literacy, and storytelling; numeracy and foundational skills; socio-emotional learning and wellbeing, inclusive and special-needs education; teaching in resource-constrained contexts; preparing children for a world shaped by technology and AI.
Masterclasses and learning labs will run across three parallel thematic streams:
1. Foundations of Curiosity: The Art of Early Learning
Exploring play, relationships, and environments that spark curiosity and deep engagement in early years.
2. Count, Read, Grow: The Cornerstones of Success
Strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy through developmentally appropriate, joyful approaches.
3. Teaching and Learning Reimagined: AI as a Partner in Education
Examining how technology and AI can ethically and effectively support teaching, learning, and inclusion.
