Reliance Foundation is inviting applications for its prestigious postgraduate scholarships that aim to nurture world-class talent. Applications are open to first-year postgraduate students in nine fields of study that aim to reimagine and build India’s growth. Applications are open until 17 December 2023.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) with the Olympic Museum has aligned with Reliance Foundation to build on the success of the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP) in India and signed a new cooperation agreement. It underscores the organisations’ shared priority to promote Olympic values through sport among young people.
A strong belief in the Indian approach and leadership to achieve Sustainable Development was the underlying tone of two high-level discussions organised in New York by the Reliance Foundation, Observer Research Foundation, the United Nations India office, and the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations.

Mumbai Indians’ match against Kolkata Knight Riders on 16th April, 2023 witnessed over 19,000 girls from all over Mumbai cheering on the players throughout the match, lighting up the stands with their enthusiasm and energy with every boundary and wicket taken by Mumbai Indians, creating a memory that will stay with them as well as the players for years to come.
On the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Founder - Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Reliance Foundation announced that it will significantly strengthen its commitment to youth, awarding 50,000 scholarships over the next 10 years for students pursuing higher education in India
‘December to Remember’, an initiative to bring cheer to underprivileged children across India, saw Reliance volunteers reach out to Anganwadis, schools and underserved communities. In its 10th year now, the initiative imbibes Reliance’s philosophy of ‘We Care’ through volunteering and reached over 8100 children aged 3-12 years in 2022.
The need to build forward better, create a strong livelihood system and recognise India’s leadership in Disaster Risk Reduction for the world, during the G20 Presidency were key points highlighted during a multi-stakeholder roundtable on ‘Building Resilient Livelihoods in the face of changing climate and disasters’ on December 14, 2022.
Fifty inspiring women from India’s social sector have been identified for the inaugural WomenLead India Fellowship, a joint initiative by Reliance Foundation and Vital Voices Global Partnership. Driving an ambitious urgent agenda for women’s leadership in India, the Fellowship invests in change makers, social entrepreneurs and social sector leaders, with a support system to meaningfully grow their social initiatives and achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
