Jan Shiksha Samiti was supported for the construction
of a classroom and other related work in Vivekananda
Vidya Mandir, Jhupulchaura, Almora, Uttarakhand,
with the aim of providing a better infrastructural
platform for the students of the area.
Reliance Foundation collaborated with Sanskardham
in its endeavour to provide high quality education for
learning and character building with an emphasis on
Indian culture and traditions. In addition to the
schools and a university, it also has a sports academy,
a skills development centre, and a drone academy.
Shri Harischandra Mahadev Sansthan was supported
to run and monitor the daily activities of Vedpath
school with 10 students at Ghodegaon, the Pune
district of Maharashtra while Shri Shankar
Shikshayatan was supported to bridge the span of time
that separates Vedic wisdom and the modern world
through research, publications and social media
outreach. Besides research on their teachings, the
Centre also organises seminars, workshops, and
monthly Vedic discussions and classes.
Reliance Foundation supported Marathi Vidnyan
Parishad to organise a lecture series on science
research as a career, to create awareness about science
research among students of classes 9 – 12 across 60
rural and urban locations.
Support has also been extended to various orphanages
run by organisations including the Missionaries of the
Charity of St. Catherine’s Home, The Bombay
Vigilance Association Balikasharm, and others to run
their respective orphanages by providing food grains,
grocery items, clothes, and electronic goods, among
other things.
