Reliance Foundation and Vital Voices are excited to announce the selection of 50 exceptional women chosen for the 2024-2025 WomenLeaders India Fellowship. This second cohort of the Fellowship identifies women with deep commitment to driving change and change within their communities as social sector leaders and social entrepreneurs.
Reliance Foundation is convening the National Conference on ‘Empowering Youth for the Jobs of the Future’ in partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to delve into current youth employment trends, identify the essential future-ready skills, and devise actionable strategies to bridge the skills gap through discussions, presentations, and interactive sessions.

The WomenLeaders India Fellowship powered by Reliance Foundation and Vital Voices invests in extraordinary social sector women leaders and social entrepreneurs to drive an ambitious, urgent agenda for women’s leadership in India. Launched in 2022, the Fellowship aims to empower women leaders in the social sector with the knowledge, skills, and network necessary to spearhead transformational changes in society.
Reliance Foundation and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) have entered into a strategic partnership to create courses with future-ready skills for 500,000 Indian youth. This partnership entails the development of curriculum focusing on creating capacity for the youth in fields including EdTech, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), environmental sustainability, policy analysis and much more.
Over 900 children from disadvantaged communities in Mumbai had a special treat at Jio Presents Hamleys Wonderland™ for a day of excitement, joy and inspiration through stories. Diverse stakeholders from across India’s millet landscape emphasized that challenges of food security, farm livelihoods and nutrition diversity can be resolved in a climate-resilient manner, by building on the momentum generated during the International Year of Millets (IYOM). ‘December to Remember’, an initiative to bring cheer to underprivileged children across India, saw Reliance volunteers reach out to Anganwadis, schools and underserved communities. In its 10th year now, the initiative imbibes Reliance’s philosophy of ‘We Care’ through volunteering and reached over 8100 children aged 3-12 years in 2022.

A consortium of leading non-profit and philanthropic organisations in the education sector in India have launched the ‘EdTech Accelerator’ to support foundational learning of children at-home. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) today announced a long-term partnership that aims to elevate the performances of Indian athletes, support the national sports federations and build the credentials of India as a global sporting nation, with an aspiration to host the Olympic Games in the future. Under this partnership, RIL and IOA will also establish the first-ever India House at Paris Olympics 2024.
